Today, Siaoshuen and I had a meeting to settle:

- actions in the script

Costume List:

Pippi Longstocking:

- overalls
- longstockings

Cupid and The Angel:

- wings
- white clothes
- the golden circle (i have no idea what you call that)

Yue Lao:

- beard
- chinese robe
- fan

Ning Cai Chen: (not v.sure yet)

- chinese robe

Xiao Qian:

- chinese female dressing
- shawl

You guys search if you have anything you dun have and have, if not, try to get them now, cuz the script is now or less settled.

Erm... After I arrange the actions and stuff (cuz we just scribbled on paper) i will send it to you guys by next week, i'm not sure when, but just check your emails (:

BTW...

We will be having a meeting on 03 Jan 2011 if it's okay for you people. It's on a Monday, the day before school re-opens. I reckon it's the only time we can ALL meet. We may meet onn first day of school too.

AND. Since, after school re-opens, we'll be kinda busy. The performing arts people may have extra pracs due to SYF and the sports people have nats coming up. So, can we fix a day of the week we can all stay back. Would MONDAY be better? Or THURSDAY? PLS SMS ME (together with the 03 Jan meeting, whether you can come or not.

I know the OM spirit is REALLY low now, since we all have been on hols and stuff, and no one would give a damn when they are having fun overseas. But, see, we have to keep it HIGH, and it can't just go back down, like last year. Nxt year's coms are on the 26-27 Feb. We ain't got all the time we have in the world.

So, if we just don't have any meeting in DEC. We start in Jan and then, we set off end of Feb. I hope you guys realise, it's not going to be as easy as last year. WE REALLY HAVE TO RUSH IT. And we have yet to start on props nor started rehearsing. I really hope this year's project to be a SUCCESS. I know we can do it. We know we are AWESOME.

SO, ARE WE GONNA ROCK OM SHANGHAI AGAIN THIS YEAR?

IF YES, ROCK ON, KEEP THE FAITH AND SPIRITS UP. WE CAN'T BACK DOWN.

Anyways. To sum up what we have actually done.

1) We completed the script, within 2 weeks, which is a wonderful thing (:

we didn't really discuss much :3

okay basically we'll sing one line for the 合唱 on the first page.

we're gonna use the sentence one night in shanghai, 我留下许多情。

everyone go listen to the songs (they can all be found on youtube) and familiarize yourselves with them.

everyone's going to be singing every song so we gotta know the tune ^^

i'm flying off tmr and will only be back 30th early morning, like after the trains start moving + 1 hour.

Hey OM peeps.
So I shall post about more serious stuff today.
Yeah. It's really serious... except for this part.

So, today, siaoshuen, amanda (yes, she stayed back) and I stayed back after math supp. to discuss on OM.
We have decided on how many tourists, how many calefare and etc. there should be in each scene.

For Scene 1, which is the present.
We are using the Sydney Opera House.
In this scene, there will be a tour guide, 4 tourists and an 'australian'.
The funny factor for this scene may probably be the people (prob me and nat) singing OPERA.

For Scene 2, which is the past.
We will be making use of the Pyramid of Giza.
In this scene, there will also be a tour guide, 4 tourists and an 'eygptian'.
The funny factor has not been decided.

For Scene 3, which is the final scene.
We will be making use of the Statue of Liberty, which will be acted by the one and only teng siaoshuen.
In this scene, there will be a tour guide, a guard, a 'Statue of Liberty' and 3 tourists.
The funny factor, probably will be the fact that the statue of liberty has shrunk and she's holding a cellphone. And we possibly may want to make the cellphone ring. The worthless item would be the Statue of Liberty, which has shrunk, and people no longer worship it. But, it is still protected as it is a part of America's history.

Yeah. That's what we discussed about. The next meeting will be on TOMORROW. Whoever can turn up please turn up ;)
